     We're just returning from Sunyani our manifesto launch, and I must say the love is deep. Looking at the unity among our elected officials, the cohesion, the enthusiasm and the determination to retain power, coupled with the unity of the rank and file of our party, one is not lost at admiring the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

    DEVELOPING A NATION IN THE CONTEXT OF A POLITICAL ECONOMY

    Political economy is the study of production and trade and their links with custom, government and law. It is the study and use of how economic theory and methods influence and develop different social and economic systems, such as capitalism, socialism and communism, and it analyzes how public policy is created and implemented.

    Political promises are on the rise as another opportunity has presented itself for some politicians to engage in unethical politics. Once the opportunity has come, electorates must be on the look for unscrupulous politicians who would want to trick them. 

    THE CHURCH AND POLITICS

    The Church is expected to be the moral fibre of our society. It is expected to be the last resort that checks the behaviour of people in authority as well as enjoined by the good Book to help shape the vision of such people in authority. The Church is populated with many individuals who belong to various political parties, share various political opinions as well as those who are apolitical.

    Gradually the campaign momentum is picking. And as usual, even before manifestos are launched, politicians are up on the roofs with promises, some of which sounds real with others that sound clearly like scam.

    I personally had taken interest in politics in my country for quite sometime. I have been involved in many political activities over the years, and had kept participating in the processes that led to the election of presidents of my country Ghana for sometime now. To put it simply, I have been a political watcher who was keen on political leadership offered followers of the various political parties.

I knew sooner than later, i would have no option than to release some episodes outside my normal mode of operation. And true to my conviction, we have arrived here.
